We built this because we needed it.
After scaling products across 10+ European countries, dealing with everything from surprise e-invoicing mandates to last-minute accessibility requirements to the uniquely German art of the Impressum, we realized something obvious:
Every US company expanding to Europe hits the same walls. And every time, they discover them too late.
The information exists. It's scattered across regulatory databases, legal blogs, government portals in 24 languages, and the heads of local compliance teams who may or may not remember to tell product about the new rule.
Sweepline brings it all together, connects it to your actual product, and keeps it current. The problem isn't that regulation is unreasonable. It's that it's unreasonably hard to find, track, and act on — in any mature market. We're starting in the EU because that's where we've shipped, and where the surface area is hardest.
